Dear Kegelmaster: My Kegelmaster is wonderful. I have to admit though during the years I have done Kegel exercises with the Kegelmaster I have increased my vaginal muscle strength to a point that the original springs in the Kegelmaster no longer provide enough resistance to gain further vaginal muscle strength. I have replaced the factory supplied springs with "engine valve lifter springs" which I feel are again providing enough resistance to further buildup squeezing strength in my vagina. My husband gave me the Kegelmaster as a Christmas gift. Ever since the birth of our daughter, I've had a terrible problem with incontinence. The doctors all said the same thing, "Do Kegels." I've have had Kegelmaster for 3 months or so. Using it three times per week has improved my muscle strength tremendously. I have not had any incontinent episodes in past month. I am only 47 but had been having incontinent episodes for over a year when exercising or running. I had to give up aerobic exercises that I loved. I was previously doing kegels before I tried the KM. I used another device (waste of money) called the Kegelcisor. When I first tried the Kegelmaster I had problems reaching an orgasm and knew I was no longer tight since the birth of my child although I had a gozillion stitches and a epistiotmy. I beleive that doing the kegels helped but now I've only used the KM for a month and a half and I can do all four springs. If you can believe this, I am looking forward to seeing my gynecologist for my next yearly exam in July. You can't have my KM back! I tried one spring in all four positions and it was too easy, so I am now with 2 springs working on three.
